Chief Cook needed for Offshore Fast Supply Vessel in Luanda, Angola. Take charge of galley operations and crew meals.
We are looking for an experienced Chief Cook for an offshore Fast Supply Vessel (FSV) operating out of Luanda, Angola. You will be responsible for preparing good, safe and tasty meals for the crew and maintaining a clean and well-organized galley.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan menus and prepare daily meals for crew and officers
- Order, receive and store food supplies properly
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness in the galley
- Control stock, avoid waste and keep proper records
- Follow company catering procedures and health and safety rules
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chief Cook, preferably on offshore or supply vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fit for sea service
- Good knowledge of safe food handling and galley hygiene
- Ability to work independently and serve a multi-national crew
- Good communication in English
