Electrician (ELEC) – RORO/ROPAX – Netherlands – Denmark (DIS) Flag
**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electrician (ELEC) to join a RORO/ROPAX vessel trading under the Danish International Ship Register (DIS). The position is based in the Netherlands, with joining in a Dutch port. Candidates with valid ETR or ETO licenses are also welcome.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic systems on board
- Carry out troubleshooting on power generation, distribution, lighting and control systems
- Perform planned maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records
- Assist with upkeep of navigational and communication equipment as directed
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and flag state requirements
- Support engine department during drills, inspections and port state / class visits
**Requirements**
- Relevant seagoing experience as Electrician (ELEC) on similar vessels (RORO/ROPAX or comparable)
- Valid seafarer documents in accordance with international and flag state regulations
- Valid ETR or ETO license is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a multicultural crew and under time pressure
- Good command of English, spoken and written
