Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on an offshore Multicat Utility Vessel working in Taiwan. You will support safe navigation, deck operations and daily vessel routines in a busy offshore environment.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer with navigation, watchkeeping and passage planning
- Maintain charts, publications and navigational equipment
- Stand bridge and deck watch, ensuring safe operations at all times
- Assist with mooring, anchor handling, towing and other offshore tasks
- Support safety drills, toolbox talks and implementation of company procedures
- Prepare and maintain logs, reports and other shipboard documentation
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer (II/1 or II/2 as applicable) CoC and STCW documents
- Experience on offshore or utility / workboats preferred
- Good watchkeeping and shiphandling skills
- Strong safety mindset and familiarity with permit-to-work systems
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
