Join OSM Thome as Master (CPT) on a car carrier trading worldwide. Lead a professional crew, ensure safe and efficient ship operations, and uphold the highest navigational and safety standards across global routes.
- Key responsibilities:
- Overall command of the vessel, crew, and operations
- Safe navigation, voyage planning, and execution
- Compliance with ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, and company procedures
- Cargo planning and safe loading/discharging of vehicles
- Keeping the vessel seaworthy and ready for inspections
- Leadership, training, and development of officers and crew
- Requirements:
- Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) CoC
- Must have valid PEC (Pilotage Exemption Certificate) for Europe Trade RORO
- Previous experience in Dagenham River is preferable
- Recent experience as Master or Chief Officer on car carriers or RO-RO vessels
- Strong knowledge of international regulations and shipboard safety
- Good leadership, communication, and crew management skills
- Valid STCW certificates, medical, and travel documents
