Join OSM Thome as an Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional crew, ensuring all electrical and electronic systems run safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation, control, and alarm systems
- Ensure safe operation of navigation, communication, and cargo control systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and keep proper technical records
- Support engine and deck teams with electrical and electronic tasks as required
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all mandatory STCW certificates
- Previous experience as ETO on oil/chemical tankers
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic, and automation systems
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service and willing to work in a multinational crew
