OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Officer for an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading worldwide. Sail in a safe, well-managed fleet with a strong focus on quality operations and teamwork.
- Key responsibilities:
- Bridge watchkeeping and safe navigation
- Passage planning and voyage execution
- Cargo operations support as instructed by Chief Officer
- Maintenance of navigational equipment and charts
- Participation in drills, safety rounds and ISM procedures
- Assisting with paperwork, logs and reports
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer (OOW Deck) license – STCW compliant
- Recent experience on Oil/Chemical Tankers
- Valid tanker endorsements and relevant STCW courses
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
