OSM Thome seeks skilled ETO for offshore PSV in the UK. Join our crew and keep vessel electrical systems running safely and efficiently.
Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) trading in the United Kingdom sector. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and maintain all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems.
- Carry out troubleshooting and repairs on automation, navigation, communication and DP systems.
- Plan and perform preventive maintenance for electrical and electronic systems in line with vessel PMS.
- Support safe vessel operations by ensuring critical systems are fully operational at all times.
- Maintain technical documentation, updates and service records for all relevant equipment.
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all required offshore and STCW certificates.
- Previous experience as ETO on PSV or similar offshore vessels.
- DP Maintenance certificate will be considered an advantage.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems.
- Good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- High safety awareness and ability to work independently within a multinational crew.
