Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer (2/O) on a PSV operating offshore Brazil. You will support safe navigation, cargo operations and daily bridge duties in a professional and international team.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand bridge watches and ensure safe navigation at all times
- Assist Master and Chief Officer with ship handling and DP operations
- Plan and monitor voyages, update charts and publications
- Assist with cargo and deck operations as required
- Participate in safety drills, ISM/ISPS routines and toolbox talks
- Keep accurate logbooks and reports
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW (Deck) license, meeting STCW requirements
- Previous experience on offshore vessels, preferably PSV
- Valid offshore documents (medical, HUET/BOSIET or equivalent, STCW safety courses)
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
- Fit for duty and ready to join in Brazil
