- Key responsibilities:
- Handle mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Perform lookout and helmsman duties as required
- Assist with cargo and deck operations on bulk carrier
- Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning and painting
- Operate deck gear and follow safety procedures at all times
- Support officers and crew in daily shipboard tasks
- Requirements:
- Valid AB (Able Seafarer Deck) certificate
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical
- Previous AB experience, preferably on bulk carriers
- Good spoken English for shipboard communication
- Fit for duty and willing to work worldwide
- Strong safety mindset and teamwork attitude
