Join OSM Thome, IWS as a 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook on board an offshore Service Operation Vessel (SOV) in Denmark. You will support the Galley team in preparing good, healthy meals for the crew and ensuring the galley and stores are kept clean, safe and well-organized.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Cook in daily meal preparation for crew and visitors
- Help with baking, salads, snacks and special diet meals
- Support in planning, receiving and storing food supplies
- Keep galley, pantry and mess rooms clean and in good order
- Follow food safety, hygiene and HSE standards at all times
- Requirements:
- Experience as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook at sea, preferably offshore
- Valid maritime certificates in line with STCW
- Good knowledge of safe food handling and galley hygiene
- Ability to work in a small team and in a busy galley
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Fit for offshore / seagoing duty
