Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a crude oil tanker trading in the North Sea. Work with an experienced crew, handle deck operations safely, and support the smooth running of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deck work, mooring, and unmooring operations
- Assist with cargo and ballast operations as directed by officers
- Stand navigational and security watches on deck and bridge
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, chipping, and painting
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and safety meetings
- Operate deck equipment and assist with tank and pipeline checks
Requirements
- Valid AB certificate and seafarer documents in line with STCW
- Experience on crude oil tankers, preferably in North Sea trade
- Tanker familiarization and valid tanker (oil) certificates
- Valid medical fitness certificate and seaman’s book
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in all weather conditions
