Join our crew as Pumpman on an oil/chemical tanker trading in HRA. You will work closely with the deck and engine teams to keep all cargo pumping operations safe, smooth and efficient.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and maintain cargo pumps, lines and valves
- Assist with loading, discharging and tank cleaning operations
- Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance on cargo equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and support safe cargo handling
- Report any defects, leaks or unsafe conditions to officers
- Requirements:
- Previous Pumpman experience on oil/chemical tankers
- Good knowledge of cargo systems, pumps and valves
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker endorsements as per rank
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty and able to work in HRA trading areas
