Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on a PSV operating offshore Brazil. You will be in charge of all engine room operations, keeping machinery safe, reliable and ready to support offshore work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise engine room team and activities
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot main engines, auxiliaries and all technical systems
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance according to company procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and class/flag regulations
- Keep engine room logs, records and reports up to date
- Support vessel operations and cooperate closely with the Master and bridge team
Requirements
- Valid Chief Engineer III/2 CoC for seagoing vessels, suitable for offshore/PSV
- Previous experience as C/E on PSV or similar offshore vessels
- Strong knowledge of engine room systems, DP-related equipment and maintenance routines
- Good English communication skills; ability to lead a multinational crew
- All valid STCW certificates, medical and offshore documents as required for Brazil
