Job information
- Position: Electrical Foreman.
- Project: Pipe-Laying Barge.
- Location: Currently in Azerbaijan.
- Contract status: 12 months (renewable).
- Start date: Depending on availability-please advise on your availability to join a new project and the notice period you have to give to you current employer.
- Rotation: 35/35 on/off or 56/28 on/off.
- Salary: Please state your realistic consolidated monthly wage expectation in EUR/GBP/USD. Paid only when working, not when on leave.
- Overtime: Applicable.
- Working days/ hours: 12 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- Insurances: Provided by Company.
- Travel: According to Corporate Standards, Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle.
- Pre employment expenses: On Company's account.
- Employment: Our client, a drilling and construction contractor.
Requirements/ Qualifications/ Competence
- Education: High School / Secondary.
- Experience: minimum 6 years as an Electrical Foreman within Offshore Hook-Up.
- Language: English Language skills required.
- BOSIET and H2S Training.
- HSE Induction course and Basic Life Support.
- Experience with Permit to Work (PTW).
- High preferable Cable Glands training ATEX Certificate.
Mission
- Coordinate and control the work of the dependent team based on electrical Scope of Work assigned.
- Distribute the equipment and materials to allow the team to perform the assigned activities.
Task
- Ensure that operators and all personnel belonging to the team, strictly observe applicable safety standards.
- Coordinate and check the work carried out by the team, reporting any deviations and difficulties to the work supervisor.
- Analyse the drawings received from the works supervisor and give instructions to the team in order to execute the works in accordance.
- Organize all the means, equipment and materials necessary to perform the work. Check that they comply with applicable provisions, report any anomalies and coordinate any corrective actions.
- Liaise with the works supervisor in order to optimize the use of equipment and personnel.
- Carry out the daily toolbox talkings.
- Ensure adherence to the planned time frame.
- Provide the works supervisor with data on quantities produced and/or installed for updating progress reports and quantities accounting
- Provide the work supervisor with data on manpower, equipment, tools and material used.
- Provide work support to the electronic team during maintenance on Tensioner system, Mooring winches, Thrusters and main Propeller.
- Implement the permit-to-work system.
- Liaise with other disciplines on ongoing operations.
- Ensure the housekeeping of the work location.
