Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer onboard a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) trading in the UK sector. You will be part of a skilled offshore team, keeping vessel machinery safe, reliable and ready for operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer with day-to-day engine room operations and maintenance
- Monitor and maintain main engines, auxiliaries, and vessel systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Keep engine room records, logs and reports up to date
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and statutory regulations
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Engineer (Unlimited) CoC suitable for offshore/PSV operations
- Previous experience as 2/E, preferably on PSV or similar offshore vessels
- All mandatory STCW certificates and valid medical
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work well within a multinational crew
