Join OSM Thome as a Motorman / Oiler on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will work closely with the engine team to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with operation and routine maintenance of main engine, generators, pumps and auxiliary machinery
- Carry out watchkeeping duties in the engine room as instructed
- Perform cleaning, greasing and general upkeep of engine room equipment
- Follow safety procedures and pollution prevention measures at all times
- Support bunkering and tank operations as required
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) license and STCW certificates as required
- Experience on oil/chemical tankers preferred
- Good understanding of basic engine room operations and maintenance
- Fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
- Good English communication and strong safety attitude
