- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in daily operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
- Carry out routine checks, lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Monitor main engine, auxiliaries, pumps, and related systems
- Follow all safety and pollution prevention procedures
- Support bunker operations and engine room watch as required
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (Rating) certificate and seagoing documents
- Recent experience on Oil and/or Chemical Tankers preferred
- Good knowledge of engine room routines and safe working practices
- Tanker familiarization and STCW certificates as per rank
- Fit for duty, safety-minded, and able to work in a multinational crew
