OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Motorman / Oiler to work on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of the engine team, keeping machinery in safe, reliable and efficient condition.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with operation and routine maintenance of main engine and auxiliaries
- Carry out engine room watchkeeping duties as assigned
- Perform lubrication, cleaning and basic repair work on machinery and equipment
- Maintain engine room housekeeping and follow safety and pollution prevention procedures
- Support bunkering and cargo-related engine room operations when required
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler certificates and seafarer documents as per STCW
- Recent experience on oil and/or chemical tankers preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in an international crew
