Take the lead onboard an offshore multipurpose vessel in Brazil as OIM with OSM Thome. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient and smooth running of all marine and offshore operations, supporting both crew and client offshore activities.
- Key responsibilities:
- Overall command of the unit and day-to-day offshore operations
- Ensure safety, health and environmental standards are followed at all times
- Plan and coordinate marine, deck and offshore work
- Lead, guide and develop the offshore crew
- Maintain good communication with client, shore management and authorities
- Oversee emergency preparedness, drills and incident response
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as OIM or senior offshore leader on similar units
- Strong background in offshore / marine operations
- Solid knowledge of safety management systems and offshore regulations
- Good leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Fluent in English; Portuguese an advantage
