Join OSM Thome as a Construction Supervisor offshore Brazil. You will oversee construction and installation work on a multipurpose vessel, making sure all operations are carried out safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction and installation activities offshore
- Coordinate work teams and subcontractors on deck and in work areas
- Monitor work progress, safety, and quality of all tasks carried out
- Ensure compliance with project plans, procedures, and marine standards
- Report work status, deviations, and risks to the offshore management team
- Support planning of daily operations and toolbox talks
Requirements
- Previous offshore construction / marine operations experience in a supervisory role
- Good knowledge of vessel deck operations and offshore safety practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills with multinational crews
- Relevant technical or maritime background
- Valid offshore and medical certificates, able to work offshore Brazil
- Fluent in English; Portuguese is an advantage
