- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliary engines
- Carry out planned maintenance on engine room equipment and systems
- Monitor machinery performance, record engine room data and report abnormalities
- Support bunkering, fuel transfer and lube oil handling as directed
- Ensure engine room is kept safe, clean and in good working order
- Follow SMS, safety procedures and environmental regulations at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or III/2 as applicable) CoC for seagoing vessels
- Experience on container vessels preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical fitness
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team
