Key Responsibilities
- Assist deck officers and Bosun with daily deck and cargo routines
- Carry out mooring/unmooring operations and watchkeeping duties as assigned
- Perform chipping, painting, cleaning, and general maintenance of deck areas
- Handle lines, fenders, and gangway duties in port
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and toolbox meetings
Requirements
- Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) license and seaman’s book
- Experience on tankers preferred; oil/chemical experience is an advantage
- Valid STCW certificates, including Basic Safety Training
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Fit for sea service with valid medical certificate and vaccination records as required
