Chief Cook (C/C) – Offshore PSV – Norway (NIS) Flag – Greece Joining
**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Cook (C/C) to serve on a Norway (NIS) flagged Offshore Platform Supply Vessel (PSV), joining in Greece. The Chief Cook will be responsible for all galley operations and catering services on board.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and prepare daily meals for crew and offshore personnel
- Ensure food quality, variety, and hygiene standards are maintained
- Manage ordering, receiving, and proper storage of food and galley supplies
- Control stock levels and reduce waste
- Maintain cleanliness and safe working practices in galley and mess rooms
- Comply with vessel safety and environmental procedures
- Supervise and coordinate work of galley staff where applicable
**Requirements**
- Sea service experience onboard similar vessels (Offshore / PSV) as Cook, 2nd Cook, or Chief Cook
- Valid STCW certificates as per position and flag requirements
- Proven ability to manage galley operations independently
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe handling practices
- Ability to work in a multinational crew and in offshore conditions
- Good English communication skills
