Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a chemical tanker trading worldwide. We are looking for a hands-on, safety-focused leader to support the Master, manage deck operations, and ensure smooth daily running of the vessel.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in safe and efficient vessel operations
- Plan and supervise deck crew and work routines
- Oversee cargo operations, loading, discharging and tank cleaning
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental and ISM procedures
- Maintain deck, cargo gear and safety equipment in good order
- Update and maintain navigational and cargo documentation
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer unlimited license
- Recent experience on chemical tankers in rank as C/O or 2/O
- Valid STCW certificates, including advanced tanker / chemical endorsements
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multinational crew
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Medically fit for sea service and ready to join worldwide
