Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on a car carrier trading worldwide. Work with a professional team, keep the vessel’s machinery running safely and smoothly, and build your sea career in an international fleet.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and machinery in engine room
- Carry out watchkeeping duties as per company and vessel procedures
- Perform routine checks, inspections and planned maintenance
- Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and auxiliary systems
- Follow safety, environmental and company regulations at all times
- Report to 2/E and Chief Engineer and keep engine room records updated
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer CoC, STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Mandatory experienced in IGF Vessels
- With IGF Basic and Advance COP
- Experience as 3/E or Junior Engineer, preferably on car carriers or similar vessels
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and good teamwork attitude
- Willingness to work worldwide and on mixed crews
