OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to work offshore on an FPSO/FSO unit in Rio de Janeiro. If you have solid background in instrumentation and want to work in a safe and professional maritime environment, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all instrument and control systems onboard
- Perform calibration and testing of sensors, transmitters, control valves and safety systems
- Support daily operation of process control and automation systems
- Ensure all instrument work is done safely and according to procedures and standards
- Assist in planning and recording preventive maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Relevant technical education in instrumentation, electronics or similar
- Proven offshore or marine experience as Instrument Technician, preferably on FPSO/FSO or oil & gas units
- Good knowledge of process control, automation and safety systems
- Valid offshore certificates as required by local and company standards
- Good English communication skills and strong focus on safety
