OSM Thome is looking for an experienced OIM to lead safe and efficient operations onboard an offshore pipe-layer working in Brazil. If you have strong leadership at sea and a solid safety mindset, this role could be a great fit.
- Key responsibilities:
- Take overall command of the unit and ensure safe offshore operations
- Lead and coordinate marine and deck teams during pipe-lay activities
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental and company procedures
- Plan and follow up on daily operations, maintenance and work permits
- Liaise with client representatives and shore management as required
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as OIM or senior offshore leadership role on similar units
- Strong knowledge of offshore marine and pipe-lay operations
- Valid offshore certificates and medical, including survival and HUET/BOSIET
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Strong HSE focus and ability to lead multicultural crews
