Join OSM Thome as Shift Supervisor on an offshore pipe-laying vessel in Brazil. You will lead deck construction activities, guide the team, and help ensure safe and efficient pipe-laying operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Supervise pipe-laying and construction work on deck and related areas
- Coordinate daily work plans with the offshore management and project teams
- Monitor work quality, progress, and compliance with project procedures
- Ensure all operations follow safety rules and permit-to-work systems
- Lead toolbox talks and support training of crew in safe work practices
- Report progress, issues, and needs to relevant onboard supervisors
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Construction Supervisor or similar role offshore
- Strong background in pipe-laying or subsea construction operations
- Good knowledge of offshore safety standards and procedures
- Ability to lead multinational crews and coordinate several tasks at once
- Good communication in English, spoken and written
- Valid offshore certificates as required for work in Brazil
