Join OSM Thome, IWS as a Steward/Stewardess onboard a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) operating offshore Denmark. You will be part of the hospitality crew, helping to create a safe, clean and comfortable onboard environment for all personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in cabins, mess rooms, pantries and common areas
- Assist in serving meals, refreshments and snacks for crew and technicians
- Support galley staff with basic food preparation and dishwashing as required
- Handle laundry and linen, including collection, washing, drying and distribution
- Follow all safety, hygiene and environmental procedures and participate in drills
- Provide polite, efficient service and support good onboard morale
Requirements
- Previous experience as Steward/Stewardess or similar role at sea, preferably offshore
- Valid maritime documents and medical certificate in line with international and flag requirements
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Strong focus on cleanliness, hygiene and safe work practices
- Service-minded attitude, good teamwork skills and ability to work in a shift system
- Fit for offshore work and willing to stay onboard for set rotation periods
