We are hiring a Crewing Operations Manager (or Senior Crewing Operations Manager, depending on experience) to lead and manage crewing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective team performance, and smooth deployment of seafarers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day crewing operations and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Manage documentation, contracts, and visa processes
- Lead and supervise a team of Crewing Officers and Assistants
- Handle escalated crew issues and disciplinary cases
- Coordinate with recruitment on crew requirements
- Approve contracts and outgoing invoices
- Conduct crew briefings and PDOS sessions
- Report team performance and issues to General Manager
- Close IRIS cases and ensure operational continuity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 7 years’ experience in crew manning, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, crew certifications, and immigration requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
