We are looking for an experienced Chief Officer for a temporary assignment on an offshore support vessel operating in the North Sea. The ideal candidate has solid offshore background, strong deck leadership and good safety awareness.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Master in safe navigation and overall vessel operations
- Plan and supervise deck crew and deck work, including cargo and deck operations
- Ensure safe offshore operations in line with company and client procedures
- Oversee stability, ballast and loading conditions as required
- Maintain safety standards, perform drills and safety meetings
- Keep deck, cargo and safety equipment in good working order
Requirements
- Valid Chief Officer (OOW Unlimited) license suitable for offshore support vessel
- Previous experience as C/O on offshore or support vessels
- All mandatory STCW certificates and valid medical
- Good knowledge of North Sea operations and safety rules
- Strong leadership, communication and team-working skills
