We are looking for an experienced Master (CPT) to lead an offshore construction vessel operating in Brazil. You will have full command of the ship, crew, and operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall command of the vessel, crew, and operations
- Ensure safe navigation, maneuvering, and station keeping
- Plan and execute offshore construction operations in close coordination with project teams
- Maintain compliance with flag, class, company procedures, and client requirements
- Lead onboard safety culture, drills, and emergency preparedness
- Oversee bridge and deck operations, including permits to work and risk assessments
- Prepare and maintain logs, reports, and documentation as required
- Act as the main point of contact with charterers, pilots, and authorities
Requirements
- Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) CoC, suitable for offshore operations
- Proven experience as Master on offshore construction or similar DP vessels
- Strong knowledge of offshore safety standards and work procedures
- Good understanding of DP operations and offshore project work
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Strong leadership, communication, and crew management skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical and offshore survival certificates as required
