We are looking for an experienced Master (CPT) to lead an offshore construction vessel working in Brazilian waters. You will have full command of the vessel, crew and operations, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant offshore work at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Command the vessel and ensure safe navigation and manoeuvring at all times
- Lead and manage all officers and crew, maintaining high standards of discipline and teamwork
- Plan and oversee offshore construction operations in coordination with project teams
- Ensure compliance with flag, class, company and client requirements
- Maintain up-to-date ship documentation, logs and reports
- Oversee safety drills, risk assessments and permit-to-work systems
- Coordinate with shore management, charterers and authorities as required
Requirements
- Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) CoC
- Proven experience as Master on offshore construction / subsea / offshore vessels
- Strong background in offshore operations and DP-related activities (if applicable)
- Good knowledge of international and local maritime rules and regulations
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Medically fit for offshore work and able to work in Brazil
