OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Cook (C/C) for an Offshore Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel in Romania. If you are a hands-on cook who can manage the galley at sea and serve good, safe food for the crew, this role is for you.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare daily meals for officers and crew
- Ensure food is cooked safely and kept to good hygiene standards
- Manage stock, provisions, and ordering of galley supplies
- Keep galley, mess rooms, and stores clean and well organized
- Follow company catering and safety procedures at all times
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chief Cook on offshore/AHTS or similar vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
- Good knowledge of galley hygiene and food safety
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good English communication skills
