OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 3rd Engineer (3/E) to join a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) trading offshore Brazil. You will be part of a stable engineering team, keeping all machinery running safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliaries and related systems
- Carry out routine checks, planned maintenance and repairs in the engine room
- Monitor engine room parameters and report any abnormalities to senior engineers
- Keep engine room and workshops clean, safe and well-organised
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures and take part in drills
- Maintain proper engine room logbooks and records
Requirements
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) CoC, suitable for offshore/PSV operations
- Previous sea service as 3/E, preferably on PSV or offshore vessels
- All mandatory STCW certificates and documents valid
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical and offshore certifications as required in Brazil
