Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on an offshore construction vessel operating in Ghana. You will support safe and efficient engine room operations, working in a professional team with good standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engines and auxiliary machinery
- Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and daily checks in the engine room
- Monitor engine room parameters and report any abnormalities
- Keep engine room and workshop clean, organized and safe
- Follow safety procedures and assist during drills and emergencies
- Maintain accurate engine room logs and records as directed by senior engineers
Requirements
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) CoC, preferably with offshore experience
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Experience with diesel engines, generators and auxiliary systems
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a multinational crew
