Join OSM Thome as an Assistant Purser on board a passenger cruise vessel sailing in the Mediterranean. Support the hotel and administration team, deliver smooth passenger service, and help keep all paperwork in good order.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Purser with passenger administration, accounts, and ship documentation
- Handle check-in/check-out, cabin lists, and passenger inquiries
- Support onboard cash handling, billing, and daily financial reports
- Maintain accurate records and files as per company and flag-state standards
- Cooperate closely with hotel, deck, and engine departments for smooth operations
- Requirements:
- Previous cruise ship or hotel administration experience preferred
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Basic knowledge of shipboard paperwork and accounting routines
- Strong attention to detail and good computer skills
- Customer-focused attitude and ability to work in an international crew
