Responsibilities

  • Treasury Controller is responsible for ensuring receipts are booked on time.
  • Handles all KYC requirements from banks OSMT has relationship with. This task also includes account maintenance such as opening and closing of accounts and ensuring all bank signatories are updated.
  • Responsible for ensuring that reports are accurate and maintained. Reports may include KPI Monitoring of entire Accounts Payable and Treasury, Cash Monitoring, etc.
  • Treasury Controller may also be requested to process ad-hoc payments as needed.

Duties

  • Establish and maintain relationship with banks to ensure issues are addressed and plans are on time. Banks will require periodic KYC requests, and these must be submitted on time for OSMT to keep utilizing the banks’ facilities. Account opening, account closure, compliance/sanctions questions, updating of forms, updating of bank signatories, updating existing bank users and approvers, etc.
  • Timely and accurate posting of entries in accounting system.
  • Establish and maintain accurate reports containing KPI of Treasury and Accounts Payable, Cash Monitoring, EOM Cash Balance report, etc.
  • Ad hoc payments such as return of funds to owners, clearing of funds in relation to bank closure, mandatory payments, etc.

Required Qualification and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in Banking and Treasury Knowledge of Accounting Principle
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
