Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- English level (B1;B2; C1; C2)
- Proven experience in supervising mechanical works on large-scale industrial or construction projects.
- Familiarity with coordinating subcontracted and directly employed labor.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation, scheduling, and interface management across disciplines.
- Knowledge of safety management systems and ability to implement quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in English.
Tasks:
- Direct and coordinate all mechanical construction activities, ensuring alignment with the project plan.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage inter-disciplinary workflows and resolve interface issues.
- Ensure mechanical materials and equipment are available on-site when needed.
- Monitor that mechanical work follows project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
- Assist the HSE team by applying safety practices and contributing to safety audits and incident reviews.
- Validate that commissioning and start-up needs are integrated into technical documentation.
- Review and track schedules provided by suppliers and contractors for mechanical activities.
- Oversee mechanical completion and commissioning efforts, reporting progress as required.
- Support planning of routine maintenance tasks, assigning workforce and coordinating logistics.
- Lead the implementation of all maintenance activities, including inspections and repairs.
- Supervise vendor performance on-site, providing direction and ensuring quality execution.
- Approve work orders under the permit system and manage isolation procedures as per protocols.
- Train mechanical personnel, assess performance, and identify areas for further development.
- Optimise spare parts use, resource planning, and maintenance procedures based on site feedback.
