Information about the job:

• Job Title: Commissioning Process Superintendent.
• Projects: Onshore.
• Location: Fano (Italy) and Romania.
• Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Rotation: 75 / 21 days on/off.
• Working hours: 8h / 5d.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Proven experience in operating complex industrial or production facilities, including gas compression and process systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, control systems, and operational procedures.
• Competency in managing plant isolation, work permits, and risk evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable with auditing, reporting, and regulatory documentation.
• Ability to lead teams and oversee technical performance assessments
• Proficiency in English.

Tasks:

• Operate plant systems and control panels in accordance with internal protocols and operational limits.
• Monitor equipment behavior and respond to changes in process performance or system status.
• Enforce safety procedures and report any unsafe actions, conditions, or near-miss events.
• Manage work permit activities and act as the designated authority for process-area clearances.
• Support emergency drills and perform assigned roles during actual emergencies.
• Review and apply risk assessments, isolation plans, and job safety measures before work execution.
• Participate in facility walkthroughs and safety inspections to identify potential issues.
• Help prepare safety documentation, including plans, procedures, and training content.
• Interface with technical specialists and vendors during system testing and tuning.
• Monitor use of override registers, isolation locks, and blinding/de-blinding records.
• Monitor team performance and address day-to-day operational and conduct issues.
