Information about the job:
- Job Title: Services and Subcontracts Buyer.
- Projects: Onshore Project.
- Location: Italy and UAE.
- Contract: 12 months (renewable).
- Rotation: 42/6 days on/off or 33/5 days on/off.
- Salary: Please state your realistic expected monthly wage when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Insurance: Provided by the Company.
Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or subcontract management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to interpret and work with technical and commercial documentation.
- Proficient in comparing proposals and assessing cost, quality, and timelines.
- Familiarity with corporate procurement procedures and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in English.
Tasks:
- Request and gather vendor quotations based on purchase requirements.
- Assist suppliers during bid preparation while safeguarding sensitive bid data.
- Evaluate and compare commercial offers; recommend improvements or selection decisions.
- Conduct price and contract negotiations with vendors.
- Draft and issue purchase orders or subcontract agreements, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
- Finalize the procurement process by confirming agreements with selected vendors and notifying unsuccessful bidders.
- Track and manage purchase order changes or revisions.
- Ensure all activities follow established processes, tools, and compliance guidelines.
- Review and provide input on technical documents linked to purchase requisitions.
- Organize and maintain contract-related documentation for archiving.
