Join OSM Thome as a Radio Operator aboard an FPSO in Brazil. We are seeking skilled personnel to support our offshore operations effectively and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain all radio communication systems on board.
- Ensure continuous communication with onshore teams and other vessels.
- Monitor distress frequencies and respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Log and record all incoming and outgoing communication accurately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Operator in maritime environments.
- Valid GMDSS radio operator certification.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Brazilian citizenship
