Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Multicat experience is needed, or Experience on a tug boat or Multipurpose DP vessel can be considered.
• DP Certificate is needed.
• Proven command experience on utility vessels, offshore support vessels, or similar dynamic work platforms.
• Strong familiarity with safety management systems, risk assessments, and permit-to-work processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural crews and maintain a disciplined, safety-focused working environment.
• Solid ship-handling skills in close-quarters operations and during supply or transfer activities.
• Clear understanding of environmental regulations and vessel reporting obligations.
• Medical certification and offshore survival training valid for the intended region of operation.
• Fluent in English.

Tasks:

• Direct all vessel activities to ensure safe navigation, efficient operations, and compliance with company and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with offshore facilities for transfers, standby duties, repositioning, and multi-platform support tasks.
• Supervise deck and bridge teams to ensure readiness, discipline, and adherence to operational procedures.
• Conduct daily operational briefings, safety checks, and reviews of work plans with all departments.
• Oversee navigational planning, weather monitoring, and routing decisions for all voyages and offshore moves.
• Maintain accurate logs, operational records, and mandatory reports for shore management and authorities.
• Lead response actions during drills, emergencies, and contingency operations.
