- Project: Floatel DP3.
- Location: Worldwide (Currently in Romania).
- Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
- Rotation: 90/30 days on/off or 56/28 days on/off.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in Oil & Gas environments.
- Background in offshore/onshore hook-up or similar construction activities.
- COMPEX certification (mandatory).
- INSEMEX certification (strong advantage).
- Solid understanding of instrumentation, automation, and telecom installation practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and inspection plans.
- Familiarity with mechanical completion and as-built documentation processes.
- Proficiency in English.
Tasks:
- Conduct field inspections for instrumentation, automation, and telecom installations in accordance with project quality procedures.
- Verify materials, equipment, and installation work against drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
- Prepare and maintain all inspection reports, quality records, and associated traceability documents.
- Oversee subcontractor inspection activities and ensure their compliance with approved ITPs and quality plans.
- Check cable installation integrity, including routing, labeling, continuity, and insulation resistance.
- Perform loop checks and functional testing for instruments and control systems.
- Inspect instrument installation, verify pneumatic/electrical connections, and confirm signal integrity.
- Validate fiber-optic cable installation and communication system performance.
- Execute calibration of field instruments and safety devices.
- Complete visual and dimensional checks for equipment, fittings, and terminations.
- Update as-built documentation to reflect validated field modifications.
- Coordinate QC activities with supervisors, field engineers, and other construction disciplines.
- Witness tests identified in the ITP and ensure proper test setup, procedures, and equipment are used.
- Support identification and documentation of non-conformances.
- Organize and safeguard testing and inspection documentation for mechanical completion and final handover.
