Join OSM Thome as 1st Cook on a passenger ferry in Europe. We are looking for an experienced seafarer cook who can prepare tasty, well-balanced meals for crew and passengers while keeping a clean and safe galley.

  • Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily meals for crew and passengers according to menu and vessel standards
  • Plan menus, manage food stores and control stock and provisions
  • Ensure proper handling, storage and rotation of food items
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the galley and food storage areas
  • Follow all safety and HACCP/food safety procedures on board
  • Work closely with the catering team and support smooth service during meal times
  • Requirements:
  • Previous experience as Cook / 1st Cook on passenger vessels or ferries
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fit for sea service
  • Good knowledge of galley safety and food hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in a busy galley and handle high volumes
  • Good communication skills in English
