Join OSM Thome as an Engine Fitter on a passenger ferry trading in Europe. You will work closely with the engine room team to keep all machinery, systems and steel structures in safe and reliable condition.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out fitting, fabrication and repair work on engines and auxiliary machinery
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding and basic machining as required
• Assist engineers with overhauls, alignment, piping and steel repairs
• Support planned maintenance and keep tools, workshop and work areas in good order
• Follow safety procedures and report any defects or hazards

• Requirements:
• Previous seagoing experience as Engine Fitter or Motorman/Fitter
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for service at sea
• Good skills in welding, fitting and basic machining
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently
• Good English communication and strong safety awareness
