OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join our oil/chemical tanker fleet trading worldwide. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and engine team to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment on board.

• Key responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor and maintain main engine, auxiliaries and engine room systems
• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing engine room staff and daily routines
• Maintain engine room logs, records and reports
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and international regulations
• Support bunkering operations and fuel/lube oil management
• Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Engineer (Motor) license, meeting STCW requirements
• Tanker (oil/chemical) experience, preferably in rank
• Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker certificates
• Good English communication skills
• Strong knowledge of engine room operations, maintenance and safety procedures
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and relevant travel documents
