Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on oil/chemical tankers. Be part of a professional engine team, keeping the vessel running safely and efficiently while gaining solid sea service and experience.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the 2nd and Chief Engineer in daily engine room operations and maintenance
• Operate and monitor main engine, auxiliaries, pumps, purifiers and other machinery
• Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting as assigned
• Maintain engine room logs, records and reports
• Follow safety and environmental procedures, especially for tanker operations
• Support bunkering, cargo operations and engine room watchkeeping

• Requirements:
• Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) license with STCW certificates up to date
• Previous experience on tankers (oil/chemical) preferred
• Good knowledge of engine room systems and safe working practices
• Tanker safety (Advanced Oil/Chemical) and valid medical certificate
• Good English communication skills
