Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer onboard a vessel operating in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. You will support safe and efficient engine room operations, work closely with senior engineers, and help keep all machinery running smoothly.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day engine room watchkeeping and routine checks
- Carry out maintenance and repair of main and auxiliary machinery
- Monitor and record engine performance and equipment parameters
- Ensure proper operation of fuel, lube oil, and cooling systems
- Follow safety procedures and support environmental compliance
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or equivalent) CoC
- STCW certificates, medical fitness and travel documents up to date
- Previous sea service as 3rd Engineer or 4th Engineer preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and hands-on approach
