- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watch and ensure safe voyage planning and execution
- Assist Master and Chief Officer with navigation, cargo operations and documentation
- Monitor and maintain navigational equipment and charts (paper/ECDIS)
- Participate in cargo loading/discharging, tank inspections and tank cleaning as required
- Support implementation of ISM, ISPS, and company safety procedures
- Lead and take part in safety drills and deck maintenance routines
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer (OICNW) license, STCW-compliant
- Recent experience on chemical tankers preferred
- Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker / chemical tanker endorsements
- Valid seafarer medical and relevant travel documents
- Good English communication skills, both spoken and written
- Strong safety mindset, teamwork attitude and willingness to learn
